Finally back together
Well after about 1 1/2 months of headaches and sweat the bike is back together .
New 9 " rear fender , 17x6 rear wheel with a 200/50/17 avon . 21" billet front wheel . Fabricated some new pipes and lost the rear foot pegs . Side mount license plate with led and rear bullet led's . Did alot of wiring , painted the jugs and transmission . Installed a 1" offset trans plate and primary spacer . Ran the wiring through the handle bars . Mounted the coil in between the jugs Made a splash guard and went to a belt drive closed primary . I'm sure I forgot a few things . I used a high temp wrinkle finish . I had the trans and everything else out . the motor was still in so I taped and sandblasted , cleaned with a dx330 degreaser from PPG . After the paint was applied I used a heat gun to cure and sanded the fins with a dremel . Pain in th a$@ but worth it in the long run .
