Default Carlini and Xbones

I just ordered a set of Flyin' Apes 1 1/4. Got a call back from Rex saying I need the Springer adapter plate. $165 extra. When I spoke to my dealer before ordering the apes, HD said I did not need the adapter. Question, has anyone put these apes on a springer and did you need the adapter plate? Thanks in advance.

You need the adapter plate.........Unless Carlini changed in the last 6 months, their bars are not designed for springers.

Thanks Spring. It makes sense but the local HD shop said no way. I am a fool for letting them convince me.

I think you will also need to get new risers with that adapter plate

If you end up going with Carlini's, be sure to post pics, I am interested to see what that whole abortion looks like installed.
