Default Ape hanger advice

I have 16" gimps to put on my Crossbones. My question is if i run shorter risers (2" instead of 4") will i have enough cables and wiring without switching them out. By looking at them i think it would be close but im not sure. Thanks ahead of time

I don't know, but when you get it done, I'd like to see pics, especially with you sitting on it, like to see what the riding position is like

How tall are the original bars on a bones? if they are 10" plus your 4" risers =14" total and 2" + 16" = 18" diff of 4 " do your cables look like they have 4" of slack? Take off the clutch assembly and hold it up to where you think the new bars would be. My guess is they wont be long enough. But try what I just said for a better idea. I think where you will run into trouble is the internal wires will not be long enough they keep those pretty snug.

My guess would be no. Lenght-wise running straight up to the hand controls yes but if you want to keep a cleaner install and run your cables along the contour of your bars i'd say you'd most likely need a new set up but it also depends on the gimps pullback dimensions.

Yeah got home and took some measurements. Risers are just under 3" not 4" so no way this would work. Thanks for the help though.
