Just got my drag bars on and all went well. Just haven't got the brake line bled, I had to put on a new line! Anyway a buddy told me to leave the cap off and all the bubbles will rise overnite. I have pumped it up and seen some bubbles, but will this work over nite?
It helps to have the fluid resivoir facing slightly down, lower than the handle. That will allow the air to rise into the master cylinder. If the handle is lower than the master cylinder, air will be trapped at the banjo bolt / brake line junction. Good luck. TJ
Its a hassle and half bleeding brake lines unless you have the right tool. I hated those long periods of time wasted trying to bleed them. I gave up and bought this tool which is a kick *** tool. Works excellent. In just a few minutes its done..
Bleeding brakes shouldnt require any special tools. I have never had to use anything other than a wrench before. As long as there arent any leaks and the air is out, they should work.
I have never tried waiting til the next day and they will bleed themself. Never heard of that method before. The only way I know of is the old pump pump hold.
