Want to replace stock filter with either a SE system or put in a KN replacment.What are the pros and cons of both?My bike is EFI,do I still need to remap if I put either on?Want to put slip ons also ,should I wait and get both at once ?Any help would be appreciated.

Yes if you get a air intake upgrade you will need a remap. I put my slip-ons and waited about 500 before getting an Arlen Ness Big Sucker air kit and down load, much better torque through out the rpm range, much better pick-up with out downshifting. One of the best upgrades you can do in my opinion.

Welcome to the forum. Yup, you will need download once you switch to the high flow AC. Arlen Ness Big Sucker or HD SE kit, take your pick. Most do slip-ons, AC, and flash at same time, as they all work in harmony. Most cases you can do pipes without the others, but once you improve intake flow, you must increase fuel delivery by either dealer download or with a Screamin' Eagle Race Tuner (SERT), PC III or other device to enrich your fuel flow. Lots of posts here on the subject. Pour a cold one and read all the arguements over which is best.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
