Default Mustache Engine Guards

Been thinking of puting a set of engine guards on my '09' Heritage. Saw a used one at a dealer today with mustache guards on it. Kind of like those. Would like to see some photos of some more bikes with them on and how do you like the built in footrest?

Bump!

Don't have the money now, but I'm considering the same for my '09 Custom. Pictures are welcome!

Here's my lo with mustache engine guards, the saddle bags aren't on it anymore, I am getting a swingarm bag for it soon, I think the bags shown are ugly on it,lol

I have never been comfortable with the pegs on mine, as they are to far out to suit me. I have tried different positions, and that does help a bit, but still to far out for comfort. Don't know, but it looks like the mustache bar might work very well. I do like the engine bar on there though, as added protection in case of falling over. It has not done that yet, and is probably due to the bar being on there. LOL

Love the looks of it!!!! You can see mine in my album. Too short (5'7") to use the rests.

Thanks for the info and photos. Always helps to get opinions like that. Look's like I'll go with those. I will go back to the dealer and sit on that used bike with them on it and decide at that time. Thanks again.

Gman; you can also keep checking Lindby's website b/c they put their bars on sale (http://www.lindbycustom.com/), or x-ref part #'s in Google to see if any of the discount shopping sites (i.e. eBay, Amazon, etc.) have them on sale. I plan to get a black set for my 09 FLHX - just waiting for the ca$h...Cheers!

I have it on my heritage. One advantage is you just have to rock your foot back to apply rear brake.
