Well I sent an email and pics of want I want but no response yet. thinking about just riding over there and making a face to face. Seems like it could be done. I do not like the low fat cat so I was going to ask them if they could just raise the fat cat up an inch or two and then just put a longer tip on the end. Then again a chop saw and welder is in easy access for me. Just getting it chromed again will be the big part.
I was going to get a Fatcat for my Fat Boy but they hang so low I knew I'd drag it a lot. Guys are dragging them on stock height bikes. As low as your bike is that could be a problem.

But...I have an air ride so i can ride at full height. I am sure I wills till scrape it, but it comes with the territory for me. Every exhaust I have has scraped at one time or another. You only see the scrapes when you lay on the ground and look at the bike from below. Drew
I'm running the Fatcat and I love it! I can't comment on the increase from the pipe alone because I did other engine mods at the same time. I have pretty decent numbers for a 95" and am still doing so final adjustments . The Performance Baffle was recommended to me by Leonard at D&D and T-Man becuase of the components. It may be costing me a few ft lbs of torque but I love the sound so it's not worth switching to the Quiet Baffle. I ;ike my bike lound and nasty!
Everything I have read on the Fat Cat is that its one of the best performing pipes on the market. Its about the only 2-1 pipe that i like the looks. If I ever build my motor, I will go to a Fat Cat.
Another person responding to your question who is not runnin a Fatcat. lol However, I swapped out VH bss for a Cobra 2n1 in my cammed 88" and seat of the pants tells me I gained some nice tq in the low and entire mid range. The bike runs much better. Not that any pipe swap will rip your arms off, it will make it feel much better, stronger... Sounds better imo also - not as loud but deeper, throatier for sure.
Thanks again for the seat order. Will let you know how it rides.
Doc, your bike looks awesome. " If it ain't broke, don't fix it". I'm waiting for my grips so I can install the Hurly Bars you got me. After that it's Fat Cats or Low Cats on my Lo.
Harleyheaven, your numbers are great. I don't need numbers that high as all that is a bit out of the budget right now. I am hoping for 90 tq and 85 horsepower.
