Take your time and make a truly informed decision, there's no need to rush things.

i still cant see where doing nothing would change the afr any different from stock. the stock efi is set for 14.7 afr. adding pipes and filter the afr will still be stock. and yes you wont gain anything other than looks unless you add a fuel management or spend $1 on some resistors.

Called them today. Great help on the phone. For the 2010 fat boy the cost is $299.00, even told me that the fatboy is one where you need to remove the fuse cover so it will fit under the seat. I was thinking of the big sucker air cleaner but still looking up different styles and brands ( I see fuel moto even makes a a/c). The V&H 2 into 2 big radius should be here tomorrow. Only have 100 miles on it so far but the factory pipes NEED to go!

I see in a couple of responses that anything other than the download or SERT will void the warranty. Can some one confirm that? And, if you can point that out either in the service manual, owners manual, HD's website, etc. I would really like to see that in writing.

Thanks,

Dan

I can't say for sure, but i'll say probably although anything done outside of the stealership voids the warranty because they are a bunch of greedy fukkies!

if you do pipes and A/C you will need either a download, or SERT/FUELPACK?POWERCOMMANDER and so forth.

+1 Fuel Moto. Another happy customer. Power Commander V, plus their A/C kit. Just SE Slipons right now, probably looking to V+H BigShot Longs in the future, plus I've got a friend that is pushing for me to add a cam. Nice thing about the PC is that most of the independants know how to program them, and there's a wealth of maps online and/or from Jamie to get your rolling.

The V is a tight fit under the seat of my Deluxe, but it does fit with the stock seat, so I'm overall happy with it.

As far as voiding the warranty, it would take me less than 1/2 hour to unplug the PC-V, reconnect the 02 sensors and even put the stock A/C back on, if I really wanted to.
