You can't just unplug that wire. The ECM on the international models has a slightly different program that looks for it.
Pulling it out without 'fixing' it will set off the "Engine Check" light on the dash.
There is however an outfit, don't know the name right now, in Austrailia that sells a bypass resistor network.
You install it in that plug and it will fool the ECM into thinking that the bypass motor is there and functioning properly.
Its not very expensive (about $50 if I remember right) and has been discussed here before.
So you do a search of the forums and you should be able to find a thread or two about it.
