jetting or sumping?
not really sure, but i think it may be slower than before. it doesn't run terrible, i'm just not real impressed.
i'm thinking of pulling the check bolt to see if i have more than 6 ozs. of oil @ the bottom, although i've read this is a risky task.
are there any other symptoms of sumping other than a loss of power?
i've done about 300 miles since the new cams & tensioners. would it have seezed by now if it was sumping?
would i be seeing blow by out the air filter?
regarding jetting - i have the stock pilot, 180 main, needle in 4th slot from top, and a harley jet kit(forget which one thunder slide, thunderjet??)
any jetting advice?
i was going to go to a 48 pilot & maybe try a 185 or 190 main.
edit: 5/17/10
thought i'd edit this for anyone searching the topic in the future.
went from a 180 main jet to a 190 & it runs real good. definitely not sumping & i'm happy with the cams.
