i have recently had a big bore and cam install but the problem is on the dyno,
only ended up with 50 hp and 85 torque.
my build is 96" to 103" using wiseco k1751 dished pistons,
stock heads
red shift 575 cams
K&N filter
bub jug hugger exhaust.
PCV bought from fuel moto.
the bike is a 2007 night train.
thanks in advance
thanks for the replys....
the twomaps i ahve used are from fuelmoto. they were made to my specifications.
usually jamie and co have no problems but this has really baffled me.
i see your point jason but the problem at the moment funds are very limited, lost my job a few weeks back, over here in the UK the job market is really bad....
i will post the AFR map and you can have a real laugh at that.....think about a AC DC wave!!!
Did you have it dyno tuned or just have a run to see how much power you had? Do you know anything about the dyno shop? There are alot of shaddy dyno guys out there that manipulate numbers to make them selves some money. You said you used dished pistons, did you lower compression or do you mean domed pistons.
And the biggest question, dose the bike feel faster after you had the work done or before? Seat of the pants gage should help you guess if the dyno numbers are right or not.
i know the dyno shop owner well, he knows what he is doing for a change as you say,
there some shady people out there....
yes, i just had it on the dyno to see what it does.
the pistons i have are the wiseco k1751 dished.
there is no diference between before build and after. really does my head in.....
Who did the install? It sounds like a classic case of sumping to me. O ring pinched on the oil pump? A crank case full of oil will hold that motor back.
