how many miles to a tank?

My experience is when the light comes on you have approx 1 gallon left. 30 more miles is definitely pushig it!

At 150 miles my od says lo i put in 3.5-4.0 gals depends on where and how I'm riding

Just filled up my brand new 2010 Fat Boy Lo. Light went on with 30 miles left in the reserve. Rode it down till it was saying "low" and it took 4.86 gallons. Got 196 miles from the tank. Guess 200 is currently it's max. Putting on V&H BSS & FuelPak and an SE Heavy Breather this weekend. We'll see how the tank does after that.

I just went 92 miles and put 3.08 gallons of gas in it. About 29 mpg. Yea it's in the shop and they are redoing the tune. Hopefully they can get where it should be.

Having run out of gas in several unopportune locations (fast lane on the freeway at rush hour) in the past on other bikes I fill at 160 at the most. I am changing bars tomorrow and wanted to get the tank as empty as possible before having to remove it so I think the bike has 175 on it now. We'll see what is left tomorrow.

After pushing bikes miles to get gas I realized I should fill up when I am at or near a station now.

I usually get around 180 and have pushed the red light with only 10 miles to go when I rolled into the gas station. That's the only time I pushed it that fare on the red light, I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon.
