Default stage 2 intake

Just curious....would there be a problem with installing a stage 2 intake on a crossbones without installing a power commander or exhaust?

I'm thinking that I am going to install the intake myself and then drive it until I get my exhaust and power commander come in.

Installing a different intake that provides more air to the engine will cause the bike to run leaner (hotter) than it already does stock from the factory. As it is these bikes run extremely hot from the factory already. i would wait until I had a tuner. Just my opinion.

+1 Wait until you can do it all at once. Your motor will greatly appreciate it.
