what's up brother. i've been following your progress as well. check with Dr. Vtwin, see what pricing he can give you. 2500 is a lot, but you know you'll get the look you want and the parts are top notch quality.
i would try to look around and see what kind of pricing i can get on the kit, but that price sounds about right
I absolutely agree. You get what you pay for when it comes to Harley's and as you know I discount Heartland kits every day. To be able to get the Heartland kit and put it on simply is well worth the price. Anyone who has tried to make something else like this work is well aware of what I am talking about. Not to mention, Rocker look SICK with a Heartland kit. Just sick!
Not sure how that "insults" us, but the thing with the RSD kits (either the Vintage or the Tracker) is that the whole thing is designed to go together- tank, spring seat (and pan) and fender. RSD's idea is that you'll buy the whole shebang together... LOT of $.

Yup, RSD stuff costs a little less piece by piece, but it is designed to be used with all of his stuff which will make it cost quite a bit too.
Heartland kit is crazy expensive for what you get, but I like mods that don't require cutting the frame. That kit is a true bolt on and if in a few years it's not the look you want anymore, Your not stuck with a chopped up frame.
To me..... Worth every penny, although I got mine off Ebay. Heartland is no doubt top notch. Money will be an after thought when you see the completed project. I did everything but paint and wiring of sigs. The two up was the kicker for me. I had to have two up for the wife or else no dice on the kit.
