Default Exhaust for my Harley

I bought a 2006 Harley heritage softail classic, I'm wanting to put a differant exhaust system on, I heard that the Vance and Hines Big shots long were the way to go, I have called different harley dealers here in houston, Some say I can just add the harley EFM down load and others say I need the full power comander for these pipes to work I'm also adding the stage 1 air cleaner. I dont want to waste money so please let me have some good opinions. Thanks Mike

Moron Stealers. Pic is of an '04 Deuce with Big Shot Staggered, Stage 1 Air. Only needs a remap download roughly $125 from the stealer. Runs great. Good pull and 45-50 mpg (52 last time). No heat problems so not lean. Just right...

Just put the Big Shot Longs on my 06 Deluxe with the V & H Fuelpak and a S/E aircleaner kit and it runs great and was basically a piece of cake. Did it myself and did no download, very simple job and saves a ton of money as apposed to having H-D do it. Bought it all from Eastern Performance and saved a ton of money. Excellent company and very fast shipping and best of all FREE!

The pipes are easy? and I guess the fuel pak is the same as the HD efi remapping, about what was the total cost?

Yes, a little heavy, but easy enough. Without digging for the receipt, about $830. Go to http://www.easternperformance.com
