Anyone put the new Digital Speedo/Tach # 74717-10 on, just seeing how you like it. I just ordered one this week but the parts guys say it will be about 3 weeks before it comes in, due to having odometer set. I've been wanting a Tach, but didn't want a bar mount and didn't want to drop 500 on there other speedo/tach combo.
I saw one of those for the first time last week on a new CVO Convertable. Liked the looks of it but not sure about a digital speedometer. That was tried in cars, and some bikes, years ago and didn't go over too well. My brother had it on a Gold Wing and didn't like it. He said you have to take your eyes off the road and 'read' it instead of a glance at a needle. Hope it works out for you.
My FB has the Dakota Digital LED Speedo/Tach, but engine vibration (or something) has killed it. So I'm looking for a mechanical drop in replacement. I wonder if something like this will work?
