Default Touch Up Paint - Applying

How do you guys use it. Sand the area first - 2000 grit? Apply paint - sand again... ? Have a few areas I would like to hit. Tried it in a hidden spot and it looks terrible...

Use a tooth pick to apply the paint in multiple coats until it fills the chip. Then wet sand with 2000 and polish. I am assuming you have a base an a clear.

I went to wal-mart and bought some really fine paint brushes ( the kind you would use for a painting) the rest I did like sliver said. just dont sand through the clear. it still looks touched -up but not terrible.

Don't touch up my bike. Dings give it character.
