Shock bolts..

My bolts on the shocks were stubborn as well; what I did is bought a 3/4" stubby wrench and used a soft face mallet to strike the wrench. I also made sure to take the weight off of the swingarm so I was not trying to remove the bolts under the load of the rear tire.

Took about 20 minutes to remove both bolts; I also re-tapped the threads where I removed the bolts and ran the bolts through a die to remove the red locktite that was on them - made installation much easier.

Once I got heat on there they pretty much came right out.

my progressive said blue loctite, but some places say red, which should really be used?

I ran over to the shop and grabbed some red.

I'm sure the blue would have been fine.
