I have a 2010 Fat Boy (FLST) and was wondering if anyone has installed the 6" pull back risers and if so have any pictures. I asked my dealer if they would work and couldn't get a positive answer. Any help would be appreciated.
If you want 6 inchers, believe me you would be more comfortable with 9.5's. I put a set on my softail that you see in my sig pic with a set of drag bars and they are just about perfect IMHO. Here's a set that I found on ebay similar to what I have.
Any risers or handlebars are typically for the comfort of the individual rider... I found that a 41/2" riser w/ a 2" pullback in combination with "mini apes" (8") provided me with the best comfort as well as a good look...........
What model do you ride? I'm wondering if the 4 1/2" risers will clear the speedo on a 2010 fatboy which has 1 1/4 bars. Dealer wasn't sure either as the parts catalog doesn't specify.
You may be on the right track, but do you have 1" or 1 1/4" bars? The link you provided on ebay (thanks!) is for a 1" bar and the 2010 fatbay has 1 1/4. How do you think those risers would work with stock bars, or do you think they are high enough that only drag bars would work? Also, do you have any more pics that show your handle bar setup a little better? Bikes in the background make it hard to see your setup on your current pic. Very interested to see em' if you have more.
HD sells both 4 and 6" pullback risers specifically for 1 1/4 bars, they are PNs's
56267-09 and 56269-09, $149.00 and $169.00 respectively. Ive been to a dealer and asked if the 4" risers would fit on a Fatboy Lo without changing cables or wiring and the guy said no...but really didnt know. I have read posts on this forum from people who have actually done it, so there you have it. No word on whether the 6" risers fit without cable/wiring work.
I don't have a problem with the wiring or cable change, I wanted to know if it would clear the speedo since the dealer didn't know. Its a toss up with the risers or mini apes.
lionsm13 - Thx for the link and that is a great price, but I have 1 1/4" bars.

The FB may have 1 1/4 bar but it should be narrowed to 1 inch at the clamp where it connects and also where the grips go on the bars too. The riser link that I sent you are 1 1/4 but work with 1 inch bars.
