Default Thunder Max installed!

I received it Thurs.Installed it that night. Thanks to Jamie at Fuelmoto.Very good people to deal with!Great price and fast shipping.
It runs hands down better.Better throttle response, pulls a lot harder,6th gear is usable below 60mph.It runs better in town now when hot out. There is still some decel popping but not as bad.I'm sure that should go away as I ride it more.
I think I like it!Well off to ride some more.

yes the popping will go away. they also have a control center that you run after about 150 miles and it will reset the center adjustments for your bike. there is also a decel popping adjustment but not recommended unless it is very bad. Do you know what map was loaded?

I've had mine about 6 weeks. 1500 miles or so. Decel was more like a rumble but has all but disappeared. I did run the software a couple of times earlier on. Noticed that the fuel mileage fluctuated down but may have stablelized.

Angry My Thundermax runs like crap (too rich)

I just installed V&H Big Shots Long, K&N filter, and Thundermax Auto Tune on my 2008 Softail Deluxe. I am quite sure I did everything right but the bike is running so rich that I only go about 70 miles out of almost a full tank. Lots of sputtering and the check engine light intermittently goes on and off. The pipes seem almost too loud and idle is rough. I got it pre tuned from Fuel Moto so I should just be able to plug and go. I don't want to mess up my bike. Any ideas?

you have to initialize the TM on the bike and you have to run the warmup program IAC
turn on the ignition and the run switch for 30 seconds, then off 30. do this 3 times, then turn on for 15 seconds, start the engine and run 10 to 15 seconds, do this twice.

congrats woodshog on the TM. You can adjust your A/F ratio at cruise for better highway mileage and also set it for more power under accel.

I just got off the phone with Fuel Moto regarding my TMax issues. He said I need to check the unit on my laptop to clear any codes that my be in the system because of the intermittent check engine light. Then he said I need to remap it or something. I am not exactly sure what the deal is. I will do what tk353 said but am concerned if the problem persists. Any advice?
