1996 softail springer with factory bars. I'm wanting to change them out to something more low profile...specifically some sort of pull back drag bars. Wondering if my current cables will work or do I need to replace with shorter ones? Anyone know of the cost involved with swapping out to shorter cables? Photo shows what I've got on it now.

 

My two cents would be to remove the windshield and then depending in your riding style figure out what bars fit. If you just cruse maybe the apes & if you drive aggressive def. the drag bars. You need to also consider your seat. the position of your seat will dictate your reach and how comfortable drag bars will be and APes will be..... not a simple answer
