Oxymoron there. A windshield that looks good on a softail and works. I took mine off the day I bought the bike as soon as I got home. I used it once and enjoyed the wind protection but sold it soon there after.

It's expensive, but the one that comes stock on the CVO Softail Convertible looks good (and I've heard it's effective).

Anyone know where to get one of those windshields mentioned below? Maybe a part number or something? I think i would like to see what it looks like on a fatboy lo.

I have an HD optioned windshield with the standard quick detachable mounts because I thought I would use it on longer rides. But I have never used it so it was a waste of money for me. Rotting in my garage.

I use a HD quick detach and had it cut down so it works for me.

I set mine up for a heritage windshield so i can take it off one and put it on the other if i want to take the fatty on a longer highway ride, sorry no pick yet because I haven't used it on the fatboy yet but it fits. I'm sure it will work as well as it does on the heritage.

just the stocker that came with mine,,, cut it 3inchs and it ok.. still get buffering, just like the stock height... love that it on and off in seconds.
