Seeing as there is no red trim on your bike black or leave them. My bike for example has as red pin stripe.

See, I'm thinking the opposite. Make the only red on the bike the rims so they stand out even more. Although a bit of red/white Von Dutch style pinstripe would work well, I don't think I'd go much more than that, otherwise it becomes a distraction and borders on being carnivalish (if that's even a word). Maybe 'clownish' is a better word.

Too much red and he'd need big floppy red shoes to go with it.

I agree with Drew. I think because of you current paint job, I would go black or leave 'em alone. That look is cool, but it has to be on the right bike to look right

Well they're done. Red. We preheated the wheels for 15 minutes and the powder looks 2x better than put on cold. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get everything back together.

Sorry, but I would go with black, especially since you have silver on your bike. IMO, red would make it look like an Easter egg. I don't think you'll be happy with red once you get her back together. Just my 2 cents.
