Just picked up my 99 FXST from the dealer yesterday. They were installing a set of chrome rocker boxes, tapped block covers, a EV27 cam and screamin eagle ignition. I must say that with my V&H Big radius pipes, baffles cut in half and a recalibrated carb with a yost tube in there the bikes rocks. I could not belive the difference in power throughout all ranges of the motor. It now has a very distinct sound and what can I say about the power.

Just out of curiosity... The old rocker boxes and tappet block covers that you replaced, were they a natural finish? Do you still have them or did the dealer keep them? If you still have them and are interested in selling them, I'd be interested to see how much you want for them.

Thanks, just keep me posted.
This winter I'm thinking of pulling off my rocker boxes, primary cover, etc. and having them powdercoated wrinkle black. If I can get a natural set that I can have coated ahead of time, it will minimize my downtime.
