Default Ignition help

I just completed swapping out my bars on my rocker to apes. Everything went fairly smooth but now when I flip the ignition switch to run on the bars I keep popping the 15 amp ignition fuse. I thought that maybe I had a wire that was not connected very good at my splice so I took it all apart and it looked fine. I then hooked it up to my old set of contriols and it continued to pop the fuse. Any thoughts to what this could be? Of course I leave on a ride Saturday morning and need to get this thing running so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I went with 16" apes. They came all pre wired all I had to do was cut and splice in the new wires under the tank. When I initially wired them last week I plugged them in to make sure they worked and they dis without any issues. All I have done since then is mount the bars into the risers, adjust the clith cable and bleed the brakes. So something has happened from that point on but I have no idea what it could be. I put in a 30 amp fuse just to see what would happen and it doesn't pop, the wires get really hot so I am thinking that is a bad idea.

That is what I would have thought also but I have checked all my wires that I had spliced and they are all correct. This also doesn't explain why everything worked before I actually mounted the bars onto the risers.
