Just did my pipes, I used one package of 1inch 50footer and cut it in half one half one pipe one half the other. I like the look because it dosent take away from the stock look and it provides heat and engine protection.

I put the exhaust cover on the front one after I was done with it, I wanted to make sure it was going to fit well and look good before I continued.
So you wrapped the pipes AND you are running your heat shields? How was it getting your hear shields to fit over the wrap?
Just out of curiosity, may I ask why you decided to run both and not just go with the wrap alone?
I have actually thought about doing something similar but with some modifications to the heat shields in order to get a somewhat original look. Wasn't sure if it was possible to put them on over the heat wrap.
Also, can you really feel much difference in term of the heat?
You can DEFINITELY feel the difference. I dont like the exhaust wrap alone look, It's a matter of taste and I dont like it. The heat shields fit perfectly over the exhaust wrap and is nice and snug. As far as original look you cant get more original than the stock shields on top of the actual exhaust wrap..you get the best of both worlds for less than $50 big ones.
