another coil + horn relocation

Moving the coil under my horn bracket and the horn to under the tank was the best thing I ever did. Non harley people have no clue, but other riders will spot it and they are amazed when they see it.

Heres what I got for now I'd have to take the tank off to get better ones. I also have a pic of the template I used although I think after all the grinding and fitting it probably changed a bit. The mount is attached directly to the frame just opposite of the engine mount bolt. I used a button head and a big washer.

Exile makes a kit to relocate your Horn as well as your Coil behind the rear splash guard...
I think they each list for $99

Dr.V do you have a hook-up?

I know a lot have mounted them above the motor... does Heat become an issue?

I've had it that way since March and no issues with heat. Even sitting in traffic on a hot day. I'm sure the tank being raised helps that. Whenever I do the touch test the coil doesn't feel hot.

I can get you the exile stuff but it is at regular price. The don't really offer a discount at all.

I would like to thank you guys for the ideas. I used Warg's relo for a model and added the 105th emblem which is a sportster timer cover. I ordered the USKool wires High Performance ChromeXS 9.5 inches and 90's on both ends facing the same direction.
