not much, maybe 4 hours?...depends on how many beers are left in the fridge ...i did mine over days, while doing other mods, and already had completely removed fuel tank...soldering wires took me a while cause i'm not good at it...i would estimate around 3 to 4 hours depending on your skills and helps if you got the tools and materials before starting...
btw, the coil on your 06 looks decent, so no need to use a horn or coil cover...

Would mounting the coil over the intake manifold be possible on a fuel injection bike. I'm wondering if the injecors or temp sensor is in the way.

I loved it before I bent the rods. Looks like a good price if its all there and the bottom end is in spec. Some parts are a pain to find. Lots of tranny parts and top end parts out there and tons of modern electronic systems to chose from. I did have to adjust the valves a lot and the cases leak. You need to look into picking up a set of Whitworth wrenches. Some metric and some standard are close. For between 150-250 you can pick up a hardtail rear section for a old school barhopper look. Not to fun to ride after 70 miles. That's why there bar hoppers. Post some picks if you pick it up. There are a few Brittish iron fans here. Good luck.

Same here - love this thread. Going to do the Coil relocation this summer, and use the stock coil cover, but will have spark plug wires going up instead of down from the coil, just have to order the shorter cables now and all set for this mod.

I'm planning on moving my horn to the front, just above the oil cooler radiator.

Maybe now, it will have less bugs on it!
