Sorted! Headwork Will be done. (black diamond valves and stronger springs) and of course compression releases. Pushrods etc So timing should not be an issue.
Also flowtest of the ports. I use well known tuners for this stuff.
On the other hand, I do not know what "ping" is...

And yeah, The only petrol avaliable in Sweden is 95octane and 98 octane. Is low octane fuel (87) causing ping?

Anyhow. Sorted a map for my setup. (SE Stage 1. Supertrapp 2:1. SE airfilter)
Anyone know a way via mapnumber to see if the map is Amerikan or European?

The U.S. rates fuel different, so for the same fuel our octane rating will show 4 to 5 points lower. So its not realy higher octane.

Ok.

95 Octane RON equals to 90 Octane US AKI. Still a bit higher here in europe then.
"Regular sold in much of Europe corresponds to premium sold in the United States"

As I understand it octane rating is a value of the resistance of "knocking"
I "knocking" equal to "Pinging"?

Anyhow. Powercommander installed. Still can´t get the seat on properly but i´ll sort that out.
My Fat Boy runs very well with map downloaded. Not as hot as before. Plugs looks ok. Better torque. No spluttering, hesitation etc. Also a little bit lower RPM on Idle. So I am very happy!
Seems like I don´t need to dyno it before my build which saves me some money!

What's it idling at? You don't want it any lower than 950, preferably a bit higher.

Something like that. Sounds normal. Was a tad to high before. Haven´t got an RPM meter and I did the programming of the powercommander with it disconnected from the bike. I guess I could find out if you like to?
Does not sound like it´s under 850.
