I would get the parts Drew mentioned from Drew. When I swapped the bars on the Road King I had, the wiring kit was a buttload more when I got it from Harley than what I could have paid for it
Also, is there a reason you're getting Diamond black brake lines but not clutch and throttle? If it were me, I would only get the bars from HD. That is if you are dead set on those bars. There is a chart somewhere on the HD site and in the P&A book I believe that lists the cable part numbers and the lengths that correspond. You could save a little change I bet by going somewhere other than HD for you cables and lines. Just sayin'
Lastly, I wouldn't put faith in the HD part required list. When I swapped bars on the Road King, I went the route you are headed, everything was HD. Two of the things they said I HAD to have I didn't need, in fact one of the items didn't even fit. The clutch cable was too long and within had spots worn through the stainless braiding due to binding. There is a guy at my dealer who specializes in bars, he measured it up and ordered a cable that was correct. It was 3" shorter than the one HD said I needed. Those fat mini-apes look slick, but that would be all I would get from HD for that project. I bet Drew can square you away on most of it

I would also recommend the Novello or Namz wiring extensions. If you have the coin and want to go all HD, you could also order new switches. I heard the switch kit comes with a crazy amount of extra wire since the switches are the same on a ton of bikes.
You can always find cheaper than Moco, but I like the mini apes also so good choice if you want to go that way.
Little stuff you'll need:
Good snap ring pliers
Set of Star/torx bits (whatever they're called)
Tranny gasket
Tranny fluid (I think a quart...)
Crush washers for the brake line banjo's (I used 2 10mm for top and 2 12mm for bottom?)
Brake fluid
Wired internal? If not you'll need some little plastic wire clips
Exhaust gaskets. I ended up pulling mine to get to tranny cover. WHICH IS ALUMINUM. Torque carefully the clutch cable and screws.
...a bucket of patience...
Lots of stuff to cover the bike. And even though I read about it, I STILL scratched the $hit out of my rocker cover sliding the tank back. I was watching everything except the crossover tube thinking it was rubber...gouged the crap out of it.
I had a great time doing mine, but it took me a weekend to do working here and there. Also, I'm just a weekend tinkerer, but it took me about an hour of flipping around the manual to bookmark the pages I'd need. Seemed like nothing I looked for in the index was called what I thought it was...probably just me, lol.
Need a bucket and a couple small pieces of hose with screws in the end for pulling your gas tank. Do yourself a favor and try to run it dry before you pull the tank, makes it 10x easier. I also used the novello extensions and they worked great. Not sure if you will be running internal wires or not but if so get some tough string and tie a nut on one end to run through your bars first then tie or tape the string to your wires and pull them through. If you have any problems with the install shoot me a pm, just did mine a couple months back. Take plenty of pictures before you start, Good luck
I know you said your putting on 12's. Think about it real hard first. I debated and debated on 14's or 16's on my fat. I settled for the 14's....wish I put on the 16's. I would go up to 14's if I were you. You shouldnt need new risors. If you keep the bar diameter the same. I put on the chubbys! Love them!

You will not need to pull the tank. Just pull it back. I have the same bike as you here is a pic.
