Removing emblems....

Default Removing emblems....

2010 Fat Boy Lo...I need to remove the gas tank emblems to prep for paint....how do they come off...

The modern emblems are held on with two sided tape. It is really strong.

is that the same tape that holds the reflectors on the front forks? that is some strong stuff... i just peeled them off today.

Hair dryer and some dental floss or fishing line will do it.

I used a credit card to pry the emblems off my old Road King.

I didn't even need a hair dryer. Just dental floss'll do it. Wear gloves.

I've used a credit card to put a lot of stuff on my bike but never used one to take something off of it!
