Default Deluxe Backrest?
Anyone have a lead to where I might purchase this driver backrest?

That is Heritage Springer tall rider backrest pad. It is obsolete and not available from Harley anymore.

Check Ebay......Be prepared for serious sticker shock.... New ones are going for over $400.00

Springer seat rail and pad. You might be able to find them at a Harley dealer if you are lucky, but they are no longer made. They do go for a lot on ebay.

They are crazy high!! I've always wondered why some enterprising leather guy doesn't come up with a nice replica. There are a lot of springer rails out there.

There are full up replicas of this setup on e-bay. It comes with a rail and pad. Dunno what the quality is like.

I bought the rail direct from HD, and a "New In Box" Pad off e-bay. Cost me probably around $300 all told. Less than (or about the same as) a new seat w/ backrest, and worth it to maintain the look and add a bit to the comfort. I liked the stock seat though, both in shape and riding position...

yeah I went the same rout I was not going to spend 400 for the rail and pad though I had been looking on and watching them on ebay for a while I managed to pick up a firehouse for 50 on ebay

Those are from Benny in Texas..... he has had about 25 different user names because the quality and fit is crap.......he sells a ton, gets bad feedback, burns people left and right and then reappears under a different name..

Buyer beware
