Just trying to drain the Trans fluid, need to be sure which plug to remove for draining. Is it the plug between the shockes?

Just as a word of caution ( I know you asked about the tranny). If you ever change the engine oil never remove the plug in the bottom of the engine. The drain plug for the engine oil is at the swingarm in the rear and underneath. Removing the plug at the bottom of the engine can cause engine damage. You may already know this, but I thought I would just mention it. And yes the tranny plug is between the shocks on a softail.
The primary plug (for clutch oil and primary chain oil) is on the bottom of the primary cover on the left side.

Oh boy, jumping right into the hard stuff first. Rest of the project should go easy.
