Agree, or you could disguise some C4 as the next troll with a delay fuse & let them find out the hard way you're serious about the doll & people messing w/your scoot...;-)

Default Just a thought

I lay odds that someone you "know" really well put the person you dont know up to it, and probably helped him do it just to break the guy in a bit.

Hell, just after I had my ape hangers installed, some practical joker got one of those "barrel o monkeys" games and hung the little buggers all over my bike lol! At first I was a little pissed because someone messed with my bike, but it really was funny as hell. They even left the little plastic barrel on my seat. I still have it lol!

that is a tough one.

Since they needed a tool to remove it, I would say that is not cool. on the otherside no harm was done, and it was probably meant in a good natured way, albeit a not very smart way.

A few ways maybe to handle it:
a. If you know who it was, talk to them. Let them know what you think. Then see from there what your next step is.
b. In a group meeting, talk about it. Do not accuse anyone, just tell the group that you understand the fun in it, however you think that since they needed a wrench....and so forth. See what the groups reaction is, or if the person apologizes and then go from there.
c. Put a sign on the bike near the Troll warning that if it happens again you will sprinkle the troll with water...oh sorry that was with gremlins.

or get a much larger troll, put him on the bike with a sign "try it again you *&*@#$^*"

lol

I don't know what's worse, the way you're reacting, or that I wasted 5 minutes of my life reading & commenting on this thread. Some guy STOLE YOUR DOLL and you're pissed. You realize that's what you're saying, right?

Letting the person know you didn't appreciate what they did would normally get an apology. If it does not, your differences are with that person and not the group.

LOL. Niiiiiiice...

Now, to the OP. I don't think you're "overreacting" if that's truly how you feel. BUT I think you have to understand that this sort of silliness goes on in the group dynamic. Doesn't matter whether its a group or friends, a frat, or a military unit. Obviously no harm was meant, so don't let it twist ya up. If you'd rather not be included in the frivolity, GENTLY let it be known. But be careful, sometimes if there's a guy in the group who doesn't share the same sense of humor, and let's everyone know it, he will automatically become the target.

Some one intended this as a joke, but it turned bad because of your reaction. If it was someone close to you he would have come forward by now and confessed. I would let it go, because the person is obviously embarrassed. At some point he will probably confess and who knows, you may end up liking him!
