I would not overreact....someone is just trying to get a rise out of you....
Maybe it's a Hot Chick flirting with you....

Go to the bar... buy the drinks...laugh about it....and get on with your life...

My initial impression is the new guy is pissing on your boot...that however is a primal reaction, we'll get to that...

The first objective is to meet this guy and get your property back. And don't even come close to the 'grin and bear it' attitude, this guy should have never touched your property, period.... But you also don't have enough information, it's possible someone you know put him up to it, told him it was his initiation or something... I'd go in with the attitude of I'm gonna f@#$ you up, but I wouldn't do it then...get the story, get your property, then get plan together....

I see it as some guy he doesn't know f-ed with his bike. It doesn't matter what it was, it was on his bike, it shouldn't have been touched. I can see a close friend messing as a joke, but it'd have to be a real close friend.

I wouldn't get all twisted if I were you. Just makes YOU angrier and doesn't solve anything. Probably was just done in fun (not very tasteful though). Practice that saying... "don't sweat the small stuff." With all the stuff I worry about in life (ie, selling a home, buying a new home, paying bills, trying to save $$$ etc) I'd certainly not let this get to me. JMHO

I would do exactly what you said you were gonna do...

Walk into a crowded bar, get your troll back, maybe have a beer....Than as you are walking out turn around and yell "I LOVE MY TROLL, IT BELONGS ON MY BIKE, AND I WOULD APPRECIATE YOU NOT TAKING MY TROLL OFF MY BIKE ANYMORE...ITS MY DAMN TROLL!!!

I would try to put the word troll into the statement as many times as possible to really show you are serious about this....

One more thing, make sure you tell all of us when and where this is going to happen so we can show up and watch...

RELAX!!
