I am actually planning the same swap in the near future. While I can't comment about it first hand, I spoke with a guy that was running one and said it had much better throttle response. I'm sure at least a few on here can comment much more intelligently than I can.
I'm running a 42mm Mikuni... and it's a night and day difference!!! Do it! When you ride it after you put it on you'll be saying I should have done it a long time ago. Really wakes the motor up. The noise people talk about is the slide bouncing up and down on idle some get it some don't... a little "click click" But I don't hear it on mine? Small price to pay for the performance you'll get.

mmm.. food for thought for the winter , It will fit fine with my Doherty power pacc I am sure .. but Story, does it make a difference with a stock engine ? that will remain stock for the froeseen future ? .
And seriously ? who complains about odd sounds from the bike ? seriously ? if I did not LOVE friggin odd sounds and engines that look like they will jump and leave the bike, I would buy a Gold wing , grow a Mustache and wear white leather shoes .
What kind of money would we be looking at to purchase one? Can any of you good blokes recommend a supplier. Are they just a bolt on or do they require tuning straight out of the box?
