not sure if this means the same, but i'll say fob battery dead...happenend to me and both copies had dead batteries...

A bunch of bikes and many using coded key fobs can cause interference and possibly cause the bike to have wierd symptoms.

A distinct possibility.

Were you parked near an electrical substation or directly under powerlines?
Maybe some kind of strong rf signal nearby?
