Hi peeps,
Just got my 2010 FLTSN and want some LOUD slips-ons. Don't care if the cops are cracking down hard. Want cagers to hear me coming from all around, make people roll up their windows as I drive past and shake their heads in disgust. Can't afford full set of pipes right now. Suggestions and comments appreciated.
I've got Rush 2" slip-ons. They are pretty loud! Was not very loud at first, but with a few thousand miles on them, I am now setting off car alarms and pissing off my neighbors. Last one I have to work on, don't like mad neighbors. Might have to find some quiter pipes, these things are even hurting my ears. You want loud, these will do it!
Is it louder than the V&H slip ons? Do I need to get a power commander or any remapping? or just install and ride off
It turned my plugs chalky-white. I was advised to re-map, so I got a SERT and Stage 1 intake, then dyno'd. Some on here say not needed, some do. I was told by the stealership if I did not and it overheated/damaged my engine, my warranty would be voided. As far as louder than VH slip ons, I don't know personnally, have not heard them.
i have the 2010 fatboy lo with rush slip on 2 inch to quiet for me. i am looking for a lounder baffle no luck yet
How many miles do you have on them? Mine were fairly quiet for a while, but with more 4 thousand miles on them, they have definately got LOUD. Much more than new for sure.
