Default DIY: lower a softail

hey all

i have a flstsc and i want to lower it another inch...i have the spanner wrench and other tools available but i'm limited in work space...any tips? do i absolutely need a bike lift? any suggestions are appreciated.

first of all.. a lift is not as necessary as long as u can lift the rear whel off the ground to release any forces acting on the suspension...
second... it seems u don't have a lowering kit... so ur actually gonna lower the motorcycle by softening the suspension, be on the look out because if it's too soft the wheel will be hitting the fender ever so often...

thank you...sorry i forgot to mention that i do have a lowering kit installed...i guess my question should've been, "how do i adjust it?"

oh, ok... in that case my best guess is that u post the brand of the lowering kit to see if it has adjustable height or not... or look it up in the manufacturers page... I'm not too savvy on lowering kits so... that's the best I can advice to do for now...
