Default 2011 heritage first ride

picked up my new bike and rode about 50 miles.its hot, lean, and surges a little at 50 mph and above.really bad between 62 to about 70.ride and handling is great,no real change compared to the older ones.has that same clattering noise at low speeds like some of my previous softails also.but it does have a digital tach in the diagnostic settings in the bottom of the center console thats really nice.windshield is lower than my last one but seems to be fine.overall a great bike.just needs pipe, air cleaner and a tune to take care of the engine.and synthetic oil and maybe a nice low end torque cam.

Ride it like you stole it.... I did on mine and nothing wrong with it. Rings seated in fine, changed oil and filter @ 100, 500, and 1000 miles went synthetic at 1,500 miles went a year then 103 build- same break in now at 3K on engine runs strong.

( that's just me )
