Default Hydraulic cam setup

I've got an andrews gear drive setup in my bike, now, and I'm getting tired of the noise. What parts would I need to buy to go to the newer hydraulic cam setup? I have heard of a harley conversion kit. Does anybody know the part number that would fit a 2006 fatboy? Would I need any of the original chain driven parts? I'm not sure if I have them anymore. I've got 37G's in the bike now, and I'm pretty happy with how they perform. Is there a better cam for a 95" with 9.8:1 and a port/polish by big boyz? I love the top end these cams give me, but I'd like some more low end. I'm trying to do this spending as little as necessary. Thanks guys!

Get the roller chain conversion kit from Andrews, and then choose your cams.

Thinking Ur the first Ive read thats going from gears back to Hyd...

bunch of better low end cams.. But with Ur build Ur needs are different than a still stock 88 or 96....

There are several that would allow for growth... suggest talking with whoever did u build and see what they recommend...

I'm not positive I'll do it. It's just an idea. After some more thought, I think I'll stick with the gears. I pulled the cam cover off yesterday, and all looks as good as day one. What concerns me is the possibility of my flywheels slipping and blowing everything up. I really wish I'd had them trued/welded when I did the cams or the 95, but too late now. On the bright side, my runout has not changed in the last 15k miles. I guess it's just more of the 'can't leave the sucker alone' sickness I seem to have. Haha! As much as I love riding this bike, I think I get as much joy out of pulling it apart. I need medication!

Ive read the hardest thing to do to a B motor and could cause to spin the flywheels is

1 High speed downshift...( like doing 70, drop a couple gears and let out the clutch going from idle rpm's to 4-5k in a sec).

2 Burn outs...( going from 6k to idle in a sec when U pull in the clutch)...

If U don't do things like that and Ur motor is keep under 100 HP,, U should be OK. According to Night rider...

not sure how much hp my bike is putting out, but I've got a 95" with 9.8:1 static compression, andrews 37g cams, and a port/polish by big boyz. It's probably close, I think. I think it'll be ok.
