Question for anyone who may know the answer to this. When riding at night my stock headlight just isn't cutting it for me, anyone have a suggestion. I don't want to drop a ton of cash in it just want more light.

 

Passing lamps with 55W bulbs! I have mine sitting here to put on when my bike is rideable again. Also a Sylvania Silverstar bulb! Be aware tha my experience with the bulbs is taht while they are brighter they burn out quick (silverstars). Bulb=$20. The passing lamps cost depend on the deal you find. I got the whole setup with signals and all for $100 off a forum member.

+1 on the passing lamps. I had a set of National Cycle brand on my Sportster and rewired the ones on my Heritage to stay on when I want them on, not just when the headlight is on low beam.

HID kit put one on my bike and man it puts out some light!!! You can pick them up on ebay anywhere from $30 to $100

My wife and i changed the bulbs on the headlamp and passing lamps to 100/90w bulbs. Makes a huge difference...
