I had my local mechanic source them from Fournales in Australia (french bloke in Tasmania I think). They cost around $1,700?

I wrote about them here because I struggled to find any information on them when I was researching - http://fournales.blogspot.com/

I'm really pleased that i did, they make a big difference.

I think they say that the seals etc need to wear in a bit but that's only what I remember. They definitely get better as they run in, very very firm at first, now just perfect. Would not suit someone who wants a plush ride on a fatboy or lighter bike. Suspect they might be a bit more plush on an Ultra.

Fournales are made by a company in France, they do shocks for all kinds of stuff from cars to planes. Very popular here in Australia as the provide an excellent ride, but personally I think they are way overpriced. There are a couple of dealers in the UK if anyone interested.
