Default deluxe mods

Just got 2006 Deluxe. Want to put Samson true dual long tail exhaust on and need direction on ecm mods. Does it require a pc III or the like to fatten the fuel curve or will the closed loop system handle the exhaust change? Other wise bike is stock. And if it does require mapping can the existing ecm be reprogramed with dyno time?

we at Samson suggest some type of modification. there are many ways to go with this but we do suggest your local dealer as the best source of information for your bike.
thank you,
JR

What I recommend is a tuner of some sort and a new air filter setup. We sell everything you need including the pipes for a nice discount. If you run baffled pipes it will have a bit more low end than if you ruin the non baffled version. Let me know what you want to run and I can advise you.

Thanks for the help! I am still doing reaserch as to what I want. My wife bought this 06 deluxe for fathers day. I have riden it a few hundred miles and it needs some looks and sound. So I think it will be a set of long tail samson true duals 33" and a k&n filter. I was also thinking of a set of Carlini gangster 16" apes internall wiring. Would the 16's be a better fit or the 18" bars I'm 6' tall. An part numbers for ss braided throttle cables, brake line and clutch cable for the 16" and 18" bars.
