I just went through the same thing with my Deluxe at 4,800 miles. The wobble felt like it was in the front but it was caused by loose spokes in the rear wheel. The spokes will feel tight with weight on the bike. You must get the wheels off the ground to check find the loose spokes if any.Good luck.

I had the same wobble on my night train, it was from a cupped front tire, replaced the tire and the wobble went away!

Loose spokes can ruin the hub. They are very easy to tighten. Get a wrench of the correct size and slowly go around the wheel. Tap the spokes and the loose ones will thunk while the tight ones will tink. Put the wrench on a couple tight ones to get an idea of how tight or how much pressure it takes to turn them. Then give the same amount of pressure on each spoke as you go around the wheel. The loose ones will show up pretty easily. Don't worry about putting the wheel out of balance, you'd need to get extremely aggresive with the wrench to mess it up. Do the front and rear and take it out for another hands free experience to see if it takes care of the problem. I told you you should've stopped by to say hi. J/K

I would say most definitely The neck bearings are a little loose. Most all of the people that complain of this find tightening them corrects the problem. Also take a very close look at the front tire. Once it starts to cup, it really can't be stopped.

Check it. I know one thing, never ride a bike that wobbles. At higher speeds it only gets worse.

Take care,

Mimo.
