05 Annv FLSTFI with the factory 95ci motor and V & H BSS with dyno SERT and Syn3. I live in So Ca. in the high desert normal summer temps are 90 -105. I do a lot of riding in the 60 -80 mph range and my bike runs about 240 -260. In traffic it will get to 280 and once the temp management system kicked in and caused the controled misfire until I got moving and cooled it down.

Talked to my dealer (Bartels) and they said all of the TC engines run hot and not to worry about any damage as long as it is not run for extended periods above 320

ENZO,

Your blue pipes and high oil temps may be caused by a lean condition. As part of your Stage I, how are you dealing with the fuel system? PCII, SERT, Fuel Pak??? An exhaust upgrade and a new low restriction air cleaner will lean the engine out. It needs more fuel.

My oil temps run about 210-220. They did reach 245 when the temps hit 95+ here in VA.

They just did a download for the V&H longshots and thats it. I now know it needs a pcIII. The dealer says if I call and complain about the blueing pipes V&H should send some new heat shields. We'll see. Thanks to all who responded.

ORIGINAL: Fatbernie

I usually run between 195 and 210 all day every day. No matter what.
Mine, too. I don't even use synthetic.
