Default Analog temperature dipstick, share your temps

I bought an analog temperature dipstick today and tried it on a 200+ mile ride in 85-88 degree temps. I was reading about 225 most of the day and I suspect that is a good temp. Not a lot of stop and go traffic. Can anybody share with me what a good temp range should be?

Mine ranges from 205 - 250. I love my temp guage other than trying to read it going down the road.

I've been thinking about getting one but I haven't really seen any advantage to getting one, other than it look neat. Is there a real benefit to having one? Thanks

200-220. Once to 250 when it was 95 degrees.

Mine is right in there also at about 205 215 range. What is normal, or is there a normal?

200 tops unless running 80+ for awhile then it rises to about 210. (like Wildman synthetic oil lowered about 15 deg.)
