Default Which Cams for Fat Boy Lo?

I am looking at a Stage 2 and my HD Dealer recommended I go with a SERT map and a 254 cam......My bike is a 2010 Fat Boy Low with SE Hvy Breather and V & H 2:2 Big radius....

Would the cams be a good fit? (Better mid-range power, improved fuel economy, cooler engine).

Thanks.

I have done a lot of searching and what I found is inconclusive. I want to get this work covered under my warranty so it needs to be completed by Sept 15. Hopefully some folks provide some input into my question.

From what I have read, the 254 seems like a good choice however before I fork out the $$$$$ I need more info.

I've also go a 2010 Lo with Rush 2" Slip-ons and I'm getting a heavier air breather. Already have the SERT, just not installed yet until I'm done with my engine mods. I was told by the parts guy at my dealer that the 255 would be a good fit in my bike. It should give you better low to mid-range torque, not sure about fuel economy getting better, but it shouldn't suffer too bad. My desicion is between the 255 or the 204. I was thinking about the 211 at first, but worried I would need more compression/bigger displacement, as the manual says they're for the 103" or bigger. I've seen people say they are running them without problem. Good luck, let us know what you end up going with and how you like them. I'm curious....

My HD dealer actually recommended the 254. I guess my issues are my timeline to have the work done so it is covered under my warranty. It gives me very little time to consider my options. I am leaning to waiting and not worrying about warranty issues.

In addition to this, since I only had the HD download done during my Stage One, I am thinking of just adding the SERT and see if what that does. If anyone else does cam mods to their bike, be sure to let us know how it worked out.

I'm going to be putting 204's in my 09 Night Train. I have been on every website I could find looking at dyno sheets for 96 cubic inch motors with just cam changes and everyone states the 204 is a great cam for the 96 motor. Most of them are making good power and torque numbers are around 100 to 107 depending on the A/C and exhaust setups.

I currently run a Thunderheader 2 into 1 exhaust and a SE Heavy Breather a/c. I am running a Thundermax Autotune fuel control unit with a custom map and I currently getting 78.26 HP and 95.52 Ft lbs of torque. With the 204's I am hoping I can get at least 102 ft lbs of torque 105 would be great. I will post up my results soon.
