The 2007 have a slightly different alarm system then the previous years. The system is what I think they call "passive" arming, it turns on automatically when the alarm fob is a certain distance (6' I think) from the bike and disarms when you return. No buttons to push. My salesman was saying that he thought that it could not be by passed like the previous years (using the t/s switches) if you loose the fob, but I 'm not sure about that.
Same here. I plan on getting the siren and pager. I like the idea of the pager going off with no siren. Nothing like meeting someone face to face with there hand in the cookie jar. "Warning: protected by a 44 magnum".

Have 07 and added the chirp siren because I agree lights blinking don't cut it. I like that the noise will hopefully scare the sh*t out of anyone who trys to sit on the bike when I am not around!

But does the pager work any better? I talked to a guy that had one on an older model and said he was lucky if the pager worked within 1/2 mi. of his bike.
That's all HD claims it works, 1/2 mile. It's useful for parking your bike outside a hotel room or store., but not across town. If you're more than 1/2 mile away, they'll steal it before you can get to it anyway.

Does anyone have a problem with the remote key fob working properly after fitting a metal base seat. I am looking at fitting the Mustang super touring with backrest and pillion. My dealership says the metal base may interfere with the remote fob, and that is the reason Lapera have not yet released their '07 range.
