That's the number my dyno tuner threw out at me.....
If it wasn't accurate, my bad...
I know that my Evo vibrates like a blender, and I probably don't want my Twin Cam to vibrate like that or worse since I put miles on it... So it's probably something I wouldn't consider
Gid rid of the SE260 cams. Talk to the Branch guys about what cams they would recommend for their heads. Heads and cams are the only two places you can get more TQ/HP. So, you can find cams the will work with the Branch heads or get rid of the Branch heads along with the 260s and come up with another head/cam combination, like TMan, that will deliver the goods.
Might as well have the crank trued, balanced and welded while you have the balancer work done. I think Hoban Brothers also does this work.
If you went through two belts in one season, it wasn't the TQ/HP that caused that. There are plenty of guy running more guts and have no problems with belts. The belts were probably not adjusted properly.
I agree with losing the 260 cam and also agree about the belts. Something else going on there other than TQ/HP.
The article link posted by the op says the entire counterbalance assembly weighs 14 lbs.

as far as the belt goes it was adjusted properly. but you got to remember that the belt on the 07 night trains is the real skinny i think 27mm wide belt to leave room for the 200 mm tire. they werent breaking but the teeth were getting schered off. I talked to a harley motorco. service rep and he said it was from doing holeshots
and those belts will not hold up to that kind of riding style.

Actually, the skinny belts are as strong or stronger than the wider belts. Holeshots, wheelies and burnouts will tweak the later cranks; they weren't meant to withstand that kind of abuse.
